How we work
Editorial policy
The standards behind everything we publish.
Our mission
Vitalume publishes clear, evidence-informed content about longevity, regenerative medicine and everyday wellness. Everything on this site is educational — it is not a diagnosis, prescription or replacement for care from a qualified clinician.
How we research
Every article starts from peer-reviewed literature (PubMed, Cochrane, major guidelines from WHO, NIH, ESC, AHA and equivalent bodies) and is contrasted with clinical experience. We favor systematic reviews, randomized trials and long-term cohort data over single studies or press releases.
Medical review
Every wellness or longevity article is reviewed by a member of our clinical team before publication. When a topic is outside our scope, we say so explicitly and point readers to the correct specialist.
Updates and corrections
Content is reviewed at least once a year, and updated sooner when new evidence changes the picture. If we get something wrong, we correct it clearly and add a note at the top of the article. To flag an error, email hello@vitalume.health.
Advertising, sponsorship and affiliates
Vitalume may display advertising (including Google AdSense) and, in the future, affiliate links or sponsored content. Advertising never influences editorial decisions. Sponsored content is always labeled as such, and affiliate relationships are disclosed inside the relevant article.
AI and human authorship
We may use AI tools to help with drafting, translation or research summaries, but every article is written, edited and approved by a human editor before publication. AI is never the final voice on a health topic.
What we don't do
We don't publish miracle cures, unverified anti-aging claims, or protocols we would not recommend to our own family. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't publish content in exchange for undisclosed payment.
